Bang, a shot goes off. I taken the riffle, point it at my left foot and I pull the trigger. I reload it, move it a bit to the right, and off it goes again. My both feet are gone.
Its all a dream, might sound abit brutal, but in my dream I tell ya, it was true satisfaction. And once I look down again, there are some smooth, nice and functional feet attached to my legs.
I was borned with miss shaped feet, they always get big liquid filled blisters on the heels and my toes lies upon eachother instead of next to eachother. It doesn´t matter if they have the whole tent palace for themselves, they are still crowding themselves upon eachother. And they are not too happy to be down in my skiboots 10 hours a day, so in the afernoon my shooting dream is a nice fantasy that keeps coming to me.
Kristin also have had some sweet feet dreaming. She saw herself carving off all the aching and ugly parts on her feet with a cheese slicer (osthyvel). And in the afternoons I can see that her dream also keep coming to her as a nice fantasy.
Feet really has been a big discussion and troubble isssue among us babes since day one. Cold once, frostbited once, blister once, aching once, you name it - and I think the babes got it! And the amount me and Kristin are willing to cash up for a pair of new one steady increase each day.
Vera is the one complaining less. She has an old frostbite injury on one of her toes, but it doesnt seem to be to bad. So instead of foot dreams, she has sweet cheese dreams. She wakes up and goes on about all the different cheeses she been eating during the night. And since we will arrive to Clyde River tomorrow she is going nuts with her cheese fantasies, counting up all the different once she hope to buy soonish.
It feels a bit strange that we already have done our first leg, it has gone fast, but been fantastic. And Im glad there still is 50 more ski days to go. And best of all, Inga is joining us in Clyde River. It will be great seeing her again, and finally the babeteam will be complete. And of course Vera gave her a cheese mission. She will bring us a lovely Scandinavian one, but we don´t know which...Kristins guess is a blue cheese, Vera a Norwiegian brown one, and I go for a brie. Eventhough her cheese lovin isn´t as big as for the rest of us, Im not really as worried as Vera, Im sure Inga will take her mission seariuosly.
