Tomorrow morning it´s my turn to get on the plane and go to Canada. It´s about 10.000 butterflies in my stomach and my head is full with thoughts and things to remember. I´m nervous, but most of all I´m very excited and happy to finally go.

Bang, a shot goes off. I taken the riffle, point it at my left foot and I pull the trigger. I reload it, move it a bit to the right, and off it goes again. My both feet are gone.

I just spoke to the girls via their sat. phone. They were very happy and sounded like they still are full of energy! It was morning there and Emma said that they were just about to start skiing their last they on land before they again meet the seaice.

Finally we got our skiis on and we are on the go. We ski upon the frozen sea ice, with dramatic fiords to the west and the frozen sea horizon to the east. Its beautiful and it feels great to be here.The sun is warming our faces during the day…

Kristin: "The scootertrip from Qikiqtarjuaq to our starting point took a loooong time. 14 freezing hours in a scooter sledge in -38 degrees + wind! We have never ever been so cold, Never! "A close to death experience", Vera says.

After some hectic days in Ottawa we finally arrived Baffin Island and the capital Iqaluit on Thursday afternoon. While Emma and Vera met up with the local authorities, bought ammunition and signal pens, my job was to try to get hold of some dogs.
